Job summary

Life Enriching Communities is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to support residents across our senior living communities in Cincinnati. You will work closely with a Physical Therapist and an interdisciplinary team to deliver personalized, high-quality therapy services.

Ideal candidates have outpatient experience and an Ohio PTA license, with 2+ years preferred. This is a not-for-profit, in-house role offering strong benefits, generous PTO, and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
• Current Ohio PTA license.
• Outpatient experience required.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Administer manual exercises, massage, and/or traction to relieve pain, improve strength, and reduce deformity.
• Instruct, motivate, and assist residents with functional mobility and activity improvement.
• Observe, document, and report resident progress and treatment responses to the Physical Therapist.
• Fit and train residents in the use and care of orthopedic devices such as braces, prostheses, walkers, and wheelchairs.
• Collaborate with team members to develop and adjust treatment programs.
• Support clerical functions such as inventory, supply orders, and documentation.
