Job summary

Northeast Center for Rehabilitation and Brain Injury in Lake Katrine, NY seeks a PTA to join our team on a per diem basis. This facility specializes in TBI, ventilator care, neurobehavioral disorders and complex medical recovery, with a mission to promote cognitive, physical and social re-acquisition.

The PTA will review orders, plan and execute therapy, assist in transport, and document resident responses while supporting residents in ambulatory training and treatment adaptations.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• Must hold a valid state PTA license.
• Experience in rehabilitation settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review therapy requests and physician orders for residents.
• Interview residents to determine treatment types and schedule therapy.
• Assist in transporting residents to therapy and document progress.
• Prepare residents and supervise supportive activities during treatment.
