Job summary
US Rehabilitation & Health Services Inc. in Port Huron, MI, is hiring a full- or part-time PTA to support speedy recoveries in our outpatient clinic.
You will work with the clinical care team under the supervising physical therapist to deliver compassionate, evidence-based treatments to a diverse patient population. The role offers daytime hours between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, competitive pay, and benefits including health, dental, vision, life, disability, PTO, travel reimbursement, and continuing
Qualifications
- Current Michigan State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license is required.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with a diverse range of patients of all ages.
- Ability to stay organized and maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation.
- Ability to travel between Dearborn, Port Huron, and Sterling Heights locations as needed.
Responsibilities
- Deliver quality, compassionate treatments under the supervising physical therapist.
- Document treatments and monitor patients' progress.
- Educate patients and families on home exercises and recovery programs.
- Grow into a more confident, capable PTA through ongoing learning.
