Job summary

Adoration Health, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, seeks a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Louisville, KY. You will provide patient-centered, 1:1 PTAs services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist in the home health setting.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the PT on treatment plans, ensuring progress toward goals, and maintaining documentation. Benefits include comprehensive insurance, retirement plans, and tuition support.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the practicing state
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification as per state regulations
• At least 1 year of PTA experience preferred
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injuries

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the licensed Physical Therapist
• Consults with PT regularly regarding treatment plan and progress
• Communicates patient needs and progress to PT and assists in obtaining adaptive equipment to improve function
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation in required formats and timelines

Responsibilities

As a Home Health PTA, You will:

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient’s Plan of Treatment
• Confers with Physical Therapist regularly regarding patient’s plan of treatment, status of progress toward goals, questions and concerns
• Communicates patient’s needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record and assists in securing special adaptive equipment for patient to improve function.Incorporates the use of adaptive equipment to enhance the rehabilitation program
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation in the format and timelines required by the Company, facility, funding source, local, state and federal regulations

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant by state in which practicing
• Current Basic Life Support or cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification, in accordance state regulations
• A minimum of one year’s work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury
