Job summary

Adoration Health, a BrightSpring Health Services affiliate, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for Home Health in Nags Head, NC on a PRN basis. The PTA will deliver one-on-one home care under a supervising Physical Therapist, supporting patients in their homes and communities.

Must hold an unrestricted PTA license in the practicing state and CPR/BLS certification; 1 year of PTA experience is preferred, with knowledge of rehab techniques for complex neurological injuries.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support or CPR certification, in accordance with state regulations.
• At least 1 year of work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient's Plan of Treatment.
• Confers with Physical Therapist regularly regarding patient's plan of treatment, status of progress toward goals, questions and concerns.
• Communicates patient's needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record and assists in securing special adaptive equipment for patient to improve function. Incorporates the use of adaptive equipment to enhance the rehabilitation program.
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation in the format and timelines required by the Company, facility, funding source, local, state and federal regulations.
