Job summary

Adoration Health is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Lenoir, NC. You will provide expert, patient-centered care in a home health setting with a Monday–Friday, 8a–5p schedule and coverage area of Catawba County.

The role emphasizes working independently with team support, ongoing patient outcomes, and opportunities for growth within a growing company. Office location is Lenoir, NC, and the position offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted PTA license in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least one year of PTA work experience preferred.
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological injury.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient’s Plan of Treatment.
• Confers with Physical Therapist regularly regarding patient’s plan of treatment and progress toward goals.
• Communicates patient’s needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record and assists in securing adaptive equipment.
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation in required formats and timelines.

Responsibilities

As a Home Health PTA, You will

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient’s Plan of Treatment
• Confers with Physical Therapist regularly regarding patient’s plan of treatment, status of progress toward goals, questions and concerns
• Communicates patient’s needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record and assists in securing special adaptive equipment for patient to improve function.Incorporates the use of adaptive equipment to enhance the rehabilitation program
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation in the format and timelines required by the Company, facility, funding source, local, state and federal regulations

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant by state in which practicing
• Current Basic Life Support or cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification, in accordance state regulations
• A minimum of one year’s work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury
