Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation in Illinois is seeking a qualified physical therapy assistant to join our dynamic team. You will work under the guidance of a physical therapist to assist in providing patient-centered care and implementing individualized plans of care.

You will help treat patients, record responses to treatments, and coordinate with the PT, director, rehab staff and facility personnel to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Assist patients under the guidance of a physical therapist.
• Help develop and implement treatment programs based on patient needs.
• Record patient responses to treatments and discuss progress with the PT.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.

As an Enhance Rehabilitation physical therapist assistant, working under the guidance of a physical therapist, you will be a part of growing team. In this role, you’ll assist treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Physical Therapists.

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of physical therapist, develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
