Job summary

Pivot Rehabilitation in Groves, TX is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for full-time or part-time placement. Competitive pay starts at $33/hour with a $6K sign-on bonus or relocation for full-time hires.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license in practicing state.
• Good communication skills and ability to relate professionally to patients, families, and staff.
• Capable of performing responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients as directed by the physical therapist.
• Record treatments given in medical record.
• Participate in patient care conferences and weekly rehabilitation meetings.
• Communicate with supervising therapist, rehab director and other team members regarding patient progress.
• Participate in facility in-service training programs.
• Record daily treatments and labor according to corporate procedures and state Physical Therapy rules.
