Job summary

Allied-Services in Wilkes-Barre, PA is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to support the PT team under supervision. The PTA provides patient-centered therapy, assists with treatment, and documents progress for the assigned caseload across adolescent to geriatric patients.

Required are an Associate's degree in Physical Therapy, PA PTA licensure, CPR certification, and a PA driver's license for travel between sites. New graduates are welcome, with 1–2 years experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing and documenting Physical Therapy treatment for assigned caseload.
• Maintain productivity standards.
• Communicate with supervising therapist and Scheduling Coordinator regarding patient progress and scheduling needs.
• Assist department director with data collection, chart reviews, and program planning.
• Provide supervision to aides, PTA students, volunteers and observers.
