Job summary

Select Medical's KORT Mt Washington outpatient orthopedic center is actively seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join a respected clinical team delivering care to patients of all ages and abilities. You will provide high-quality, supervised outpatient PT services, supporting recovery of function and helping patients return to daily activities.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends, starting pay at $23.50/hour and opportunities for sign-on bonuses and debt

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Outpatient clinical rotation if a current student.
• Outpatient experience in the last 5 years if a licensed clinician.
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by CAPTE.
• Valid state PTA license (or license in process).
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures.
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
