Job summary

Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN) is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for outpatient orthopedics at our Rancho Mirage clinics in California. You will collaborate with licensed therapists to implement treatment plans, guide patients through exercises, and monitor progress to support recovery and optimal outcomes.

The role involves documenting patient progress, coordinating with PTs, and contributing to a positive clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• State licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Experience communicating with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist.
• Communicate with PTs on patient progress.
• Guide and instruct patients in therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Monitor and record patient progress and responses to treatments.
• Ensure and monitor caseload to ensure attendance compliance.
