Job summary

Performance Physical Therapy in Hockessin, DE is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to work closely with licensed PTs to deliver one-on-one, evidence-based care in a patient-focused environment. You’ll help patients achieve meaningful outcomes through personalized plans, exercise instruction, and education.

Ideal candidates hold a Delaware PTA license, an associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program, and outpatient experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Delaware PTA license or eligibility.
• Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• Outpatient setting experience preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement treatment programs that reflect the plan of care and goals.
• Instruct patients in safe and effective exercise and functional activities.
• Educate patients and families to support adherence and independence.
• Document care accurately, completely, and on time in Clinicient EMR.
