Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting or related field.
• Current state licensure or PTA certification.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and human physiology.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing patient-specific treatment plans.
• Provide direct patient care with therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities as directed.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, exercises, and home care strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and progress per facility policies.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
