Job summary

Providence of Thomaston is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to provide therapy two days a week in our in-house therapy team. The role focuses on rehabilitation and recovery in a skilled nursing setting, working with patients to develop personalized treatment plans.

The ideal candidate will use medical terminology and diverse therapeutic techniques, collaborate with the care team, and educate patients and families about home exercises and self-management.

Qualifications

• Master's (MPT) or DPT from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience in skilled nursing settings is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with discharge planning processes.
• Geriatric patient experience is a plus.
