SSM Health Physical Therapy in New Town, MO is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to support outpatient therapy. Under the direct supervision of a licensed PT, you will assist with implementing the therapy plan of care and coordinating patient care.

You will participate in patient and family education, support continuous improvement, and contribute to a team that values exceptional care and professional development opportunities.

Qualificações

• Physical Therapy Assistant Degree or certification required.
• Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant required.
• CPR certification

Responsabilidades

• Under the direct supervision of a licensed PT, assists with the implementation of the therapy plan of care.
• Responsible for delegation and direction of supportive personnel for those assigned patients.
• Consistently communicates with supervising PT to identify needs for assessment and adjustment of treatment plans.
• Participates in education of patients, families, students, coworkers and self.
• Performs other professional duties associated with patient care within scope of practice.
