Job summary

Renewal Rehab is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our SNF and long-term care team as a full-time member.

You will provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, assist in identifying suitable patients for therapy, collaborate with the PT and team to ensure quality outcomes, and maintain documentation to meet regulatory requirements. A current PTA license in the state is required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an APTA‑accredited PTA program.
• Current PTA license in the state of practice.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist in identifying appropriate patients for therapy and coordinate with the PT for evaluation and referral.
• Collaborate with team to ensure quality outcomes.
• Maintain documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all physician orders are obtained and up to date.
