Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to help residents regain function in a skilled nursing facility at Forest Health & Rehab and Autumn Care of Altavista, VA. This full-time role offers day shifts and a competitive hourly wage.

You will support patient education, independent exercise programs, and post-discharge function maintenance in a compassionate, team-driven setting. Eligible benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401K, PTO, CEUs, and tuition opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate’s Degree in a Physical Therapy Assistant program from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant within the state in which you work.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including service delivery software and the electronic health record software.

Responsibilities

• Return resident to optimal physical function and facilitate achievement of therapy goals in a SNF setting.
• Instruct the patient in maintaining achieved level of function after discharge through education, independent exercise program, and activity modification.
