Job summary

City Scape Rehabilitation and Care Center in Denver, CO is seeking a caring Physical Therapist Assistant to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. The PTA will perform treatments to help patients regain mobility and quality of life, with supervision by a Physical Therapist.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or better.
• Current PTA license in Colorado.
• 1 year experience in skilled nursing preferred (new graduates welcome).

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients to learn about their physical condition and symptoms.
• Coach patients and teach therapeutic massage to ease pain and promote healing.
• Maintain patient records and track goals.
• Use standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support interventions.
• Evaluate progress and adjust treatments in the clinical record per requirements.
• Provide discharge summaries and communicate progress with families and health team.
