Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join Knoxville Rehabilitation's inpatient acute setting. The PTA will provide treatments under a licensed Physical Therapist, helping restore function and mobility while supporting a patient-centered care approach.

Applicants should hold a TN PTA license, an Associate's degree from a PTA program, and CPR certification. Rehab or acute care experience is preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Current TN licensure as Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).
• Associate's degree from a PTA program is required.
• Rehab or acute care experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
• Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
• Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
