Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of treatment plans developed by the physical therapist to address patients’ rehabilitation goals.
• Lead patients through prescribed exercises and therapeutic activities designed to enhance their physical function.
• Ensure proper application of various treatment modalities, monitoring patient responses.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention strategies and proper body mechanics.
• Monitor patients’ responses to treatment interventions and document their progress.

Skills

Degree in an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program

Current license/certification in the state of practice
