STAR Physical Therapy in Nashville, TN is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to support patient care across our clinics. You will deliver therapies under supervision, document progress, and assist clinicians with education and home exercise plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program.
• New or recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Current TN licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
• CPR certification is required.
• Ability to work effectively in an autonomous environment.
• Basic PC skills including EMR, database software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapies under supervision, including modalities, exercises, gait training, manual therapy, ADL training.
• Record patient progress in medical charts.
• Report status to physicians; measure ROM, strength, and vital signs as needed.
• Instruct patients and families on assistive devices and home exercises.
• Provide guidance to Physical Therapist Assistant students and technicians.
• Assist in quality assurance programs and maintain PT principles.
