Pate Rehabilitation is looking for a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Irving, Texas. As a PTA, you will assist patients with exercises, ambulation, and functional activities, while also supporting the Physical Therapist in evaluations and complex treatment procedures. Candidates must have an Associate's degree and a current license to practice as a PTA in Texas. We offer a variety of benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan.
Qualifications
Associates degree from an accredited college or university required.
Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Texas required.
Must pass all pre-employment and employment verifications.
Responsibilities
Assist patients in exercise, ambulation, functional activities, and the application/use of assistive devices.
Assist Physical Therapist in executing patient evaluations and complex treatment procedures.
Educate patients and families on selected procedures and functional activities.
Participate in ongoing program evaluation and development.
Maintain thorough documentation of all care provided.
