Job summary

Trilogy-Health-Services in Kokomo, Indiana seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering compassionate rehabilitation. You will implement treatment plans, facilitate therapeutic exercises and modalities, and monitor patient responses within an interdisciplinary team.

Must have an accredited PTA program degree and a current Indiana PTA license (CPR certification preferred).

Qualifications

• Education: PTA degree from an accredited program.
• Licensure: current state PTA licensure or certification.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities (e.g., heat, cold, electrical stimulation).
• Observe patient responses to therapy, document progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Observe and maintain up-to-date documentation related to patients’ responses to therapy, document their progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide instructions to patients and their families on exercise techniques, safety precautions, and strategies to support continued progress at home.
• Support Physical Therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress, providing additional observations and insights.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.
