Job summary

Stern at Home Therapy is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to deliver one-on-one home health care for patients in and around Newark, NJ. Choose among salary, per-visit, or contractor compensation options with potential to earn up to $105,300 annually under the 1099 tiered plan.

Supervision is provided remotely by licensed Physical Therapists, enabling focused treatments and individualized plans. Enjoy autonomy with administrative support and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey PTA license is required.
• Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes.
• Strong clinical, communication, and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a home-based setting while collaborating with remote supervising PTs.
• Home health experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one physical therapy treatments in patients' homes.
• Carry out individualized treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Coordinate with remote supervising PTs on patient progress and plan adjustments.
• Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, safety, and function.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
