Elite Medical Staffing, LLC is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Alamosa, CO. The role offers a contract position with $48/hour pay and a Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm schedule.

The PTA will work under a licensed Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans, document patient progress, and support residents in mobility activities within a SNF setting. Strong reliability and facility adaptability are essential.

Qualifications

• Active PTA license in Colorado (or Compact PTA license)
• Minimum 1 year of PTA experience in skilled nursing
• Reliable transportation to assigned facilities
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Record patient information and vital signs in EMR
• Provide PTAs under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Follow treatment plans and document progress
• Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait and mobility training
• Monitor responses to therapy and report to supervising therapist
• Ensure safety and document all sessions and outcomes
