Job summary

COX HEALTHCARE LTD is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to support licensed Physical Therapists in a Skilled Nursing setting. You will help with patient care, discuss treatment plans with the PT, and help prepare the treatment area with equipment and adaptive tools.

You will also assist with maintaining a clean, organized therapy space, move patients to the therapy area, and perform scheduling and paperwork as needed.

Responsibilities

• Help patients stretch and exercise specific muscle groups.
• Read instructions from the physical therapist.
• Assist patients under the supervision of a PT.
• Move patients from wheelchairs or walkers to the therapy area.
• Keep the therapy area clean and organized.
• Complete scheduling and administrative tasks as needed.
