Job summary

Protouch Staffing in Spring, TX is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a clinical team on-site. This full-time role runs weekdays 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and focuses on helping patients improve mobility and independence.

You will assist with interventions, monitor progress, communicate with patients and the supervising PT, and adapt plans to ensure safety and comfort. New graduates are welcome and supported in professional growth.

Qualifications

• PTA degree (AS/BAS) or equivalent.
• Current PTA license or certification.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Implement selected components of care and interventions in a technically competent manner.
• Assist patients in improving mobility and functional abilities.
• Identify patient needs and demonstrate compassion, empathy, and respect for individual differences.
• Recommend modifications or adjustments in treatment to ensure patient progress, safety, and comfort.
• Monitor patient performance and report progress to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Support patients in achieving rehabilitation goals and outcomes.
