Job summary

Spine and Sport Physical Therapy in Fair Oaks, CA seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to join a collaborative clinical team. You will implement treatments, guide exercises, and document progress to support patient recovery.

The successful candidate will work with PTs to deliver high-quality care in a supportive setting and participate in ongoing education. We offer mentorship, flexible scheduling, and a compensation package with incentives and loan repayment options.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• State licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and teams.
• Proficient in assisting with therapeutic exercises and modalities.
• Able to prioritize tasks and maintain accurate documentation.
• Experience as a PTA in a clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist.
• Communicate with PTs on patient progress and changes in status.
• Instruct patients in therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Monitor patient progress and ensure attendance compliance.
• Set up equipment and aid in therapeutic interventions (e.g., ultrasound).
• Maintain accurate patient records and timely documentation.
• Educate patients and families on home care and techniques.
• Collaborate with PTs and other clinicians to ensure comprehensive care.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to clinic culture.
