Pine Ridge Care Center in California seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and assist with each resident's treatment plan. Responsibilities include providing direct treatment, documenting progress toward goals, teaching exercises to residents and caregivers, and completing forms according to policy and regulations.

• Associate Degree from an APTA accredited PTA program.
• License as Physical Therapist Assistant in California.
• Covid-19 vaccine required.
• Must comply with California COVID mandates.

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct treatment to residents as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Documents resident progress towards meeting established goals.
• Teaches exercises to residents, family members, and caregivers and may provide instruction in the use and care for orthotic, prosthetic devices, and other assisting apparatus.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
