Job summary

Martin Coast Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Hobe Sound, Florida is seeking a passionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our five-star team. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and document treatments, progress, and changes in condition.

Responsibilities include administering treatment programs, assessing patient status, setting goals, implementing plans, and instructing patients in exercises and modalities.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid PTA license in the state of Florida.
• Current CPR and first aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Administer treatment programs as established by Physical Therapists
• Focus on providing the highest quality treatment for patients that allows for excellent patient outcomes
• Assess patient condition using knowledge of basic biological and medical science
• Propose treatment goals and objectives
• Implement patient treatment plans with guidance from the Physical Therapist
• Instruct patients on physical therapy interventions, modalities, and home exercise programs
