Job summary

PRO-PT Physical Therapy in Merced, CA is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Merced clinic. You will deliver hands-on, evidence-based treatment under supervision, helping patients regain movement and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Graduate or upcoming graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current or pending California Physical Therapist Assistant license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or ability to obtain before providing patient care

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on, evidence-based treatment under the direction of a Physical Therapist to help patients achieve their goals.
• Monitor patient progress, communicate updates to the supervising PT, and motivate patients throughout recovery.
• Collaborate with PTs and team members to deliver the Second-to-None experience PRO-PT is known for.
• Build meaningful patient relationships while maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Expand expertise through continuing education, mentorship, and team collaboration
