R Jason Kent Physical Therapy in Macon, GA is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our outpatient team. You will support the Physical Therapist by guiding patients through exercises and daily activities while documenting progress and ensuring safety.

The ideal candidate has a Georgia PTA license (or active application) and a clean background check. We offer a positive, family-oriented clinic culture with competition salary and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Physical Therapy Assistant license for Georgia or application in progress.
• Clean background check.

Responsibilities

• Follow the treatment plan provided by the on-site Physical Therapist.
• Lead patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and daily-living activities.
• Monitor patient responses before, during, and after therapy sessions.
• Assist patients with supportive devices like crutches, walkers, or canes.
• Document patient progress according to payer and regulatory requirements and report clinical findings to the supervising physical therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise plans and post-treatment care.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized treatment areas.
• Collaborate with an outstanding therapy team.
• Maintain professional licensure and continuing education.
