Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Visalia, CA is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to support a in-house therapy team. You will assist licensed therapists to help residents recover mobility, balance, and independence, focusing on rehab after surgery or illness.

Qualifications

• Requires valid PTA license or certification in the state of practice.
• License eligibility considered acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to licensed therapists to help residents recover mobility, balance, and independence.
• Assist in implementing individualized therapy plans under supervision.
• Document services to ensure accurate and timely billing of therapy sessions.
• Ensure patient care follows the Plan of Care and complies with Federal and State guidelines.
• Help identify needs and refer to other disciplines under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist in developing comprehensive plans of care and therapy programs.
