Job summary

South Pacific Rehab Services is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in hospital and acute care settings. This part-time position requires an active PTA license and an associate’s degree from an APTA-accredited program.

You will work under a licensed Physical Therapist, coordinate patient referrals, and help ensure high-quality outcomes. We offer scheduling flexibility, competitive pay, online CEU credits, and opportunities for growth, including internal transfers.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an APTA-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current license as Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following state practice guidelines.
• Assist in identifying appropriate patients for therapy and coordinate with the PT for evaluation and referral.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality outcomes.
• Maintain documentation to meet all regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all required physician orders are obtained and up to date.
