Job summary

Tender Touch Rehab Services in Absecon, NJ is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our SNF and long-term care teams. You will provide PTAs under supervision, support evaluation referrals, and coordinate with therapists to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to apply.
• Current license as PTA in the state of practice.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following state practice guidelines.
• Assist in identifying appropriate patients for therapy and coordinate with the PT for evaluation and referral.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality outcomes.
• Maintain documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all required physician orders are obtained and up to date.

Education

Associate’s degree from an APTA-accredited PTA program

Current PTA license in state of practice

Strong communication skills
