Qualifications

• Holds current license/registration in NC as required by state law.
• BA or Associate degree in Physical Therapy recognized by the APTA.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of a PT according to state practice guidelines.
• Assist PT in identifying appropriate patients and referring them to rehab accordingly.
• Document patient’s daily participation and progress on progress note with PT co-signature.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, recertifications and discharges.
• Supervise junior PTA staff or students as needed.
