Job summary

A healthcare provider is seeking Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) in Florida to deliver therapy interventions, assist patients with rehabilitation activities, and ensure coordinated care. The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited PTA program with a valid license in New York and CPR certification. This role offers flexible schedules and opportunities for professional growth within a supportive management team.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted license to practice as a PTA in New York.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises, mobility training, gait, and other therapeutic activities.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate changes to the supervising PT.
• Accurately document all services provided in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Travel to patient homes/facilities within assigned geographic areas.
