FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers in Alexandria, LA is seeking motivated Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to join our growing team. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available, offering flexible schedules to fit your life.

You will work under a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients achieve their goals, with competitive pay of $30-$35/hour, generous vacation and PTO, and comprehensive benefits including health coverage, an IRA with employer matching, and continuing

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Louisiana PTA license or eligibility for Louisiana licensure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient-focused approach to care.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Physical Therapists and other team members.
• Desire to continue learning and developing professionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment in accordance with the Physical Therapist's established plan of care.
• Guide and assist patients through therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Monitor patient response and progress during treatment.
• Communicate patient progress and concerns with the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with therapists and other team members to provide a positive patient experience.
• Follow all applicable clinical, safety, and professional standards.
