Job summary

Tender Touch Rehab Services, part of the Enhance Therapies family, is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time role in southeastern Connecticut, offering $35.00 - $42.00 per hour in SNF/long-term care settings.

You will provide physical therapy under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, identify suitable patients, collaborate with the team, and maintain documentation to meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an APTA-accredited PTA program.
• Current license as Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under supervision of a licensed PT, following state guidelines.
• Identify appropriate patients for therapy and coordinate with PT for evaluation/referral.
• Collaborate with team to ensure quality outcomes.
• Maintain documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
• Obtain and up-to-date physician orders.
