Aberjona Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Winchester, Massachusetts is seeking a compassionate Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. You will provide skilled treatments under licensed PT, develop Plan of Care, support residents with mobility and daily activities, and collaborate with therapists and nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain an active Massachusetts PTA license.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Experience in SNF/rehabilitation settings preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide skilled PT interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans based on goals.
• Lead therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and balance activities.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust care with PT oversight.
• Document progress accurately and timely in charting systems.
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, and activities of daily living.
• Educate residents and families on mobility and safety techniques.
• Collaborate with PTs, nurses, and therapists for coordinated care.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and regulations.
• Participate in required meetings and in-services.
