Job summary

Collierville Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide physical therapy and related services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. You will work with residents to improve strength, mobility, and confidence while following the plan of care and facility guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Valid state PTA license.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and basic internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in screening and evaluating patients as directed by the PT.
• Implement treatment per established plan of care.
• Supervise rehabilitation technicians during group and individual sessions.
• Document and bill according to state and federal guidelines.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to integrate therapy into care plans.
• Refer to other rehab team members as needed.
• Maintain communication about patient progress with supervising PT.
