Job summary

Stellar Health Group in Massachusetts is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join a family-oriented therapy team. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and independence through evidence-based treatments.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts state license as a PTA.
• Graduate of an APTA-approved PTA program.
• Adhere to state, federal and APTA standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day PTA treatments under a PT supervision.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, gait, balance and strengthening.
• Document progress and treatment notes in medical records.
• Collaborate with disciplines to ensure coordinated care.
• Support home visits and family conferences when appropriate.
• Supervise rehabilitation aides and ensure safety during care.
• Record charges accurately and on time.
• Complete discharge documentation and home programs.
• Promote patient safety, independence, and quality of life.
