Job summary

PruittHealth is hiring a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at our Sylvester SNF location. You will support PT-led treatments, guide patients through exercises, and help restore mobility and independence in a post-acute care setting.

You'll work within a collaborative care team, document progress, and educate patients and families on safety and mobility strategies. Competitive compensation up to $100,000/year plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Rehabilitation or post-acute care experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility activities.
• Monitor patient performance and communicate progress to the supervising PT.
• Support rehabilitation goals through individualized treatment interventions.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
• Educate patients and families on safety and mobility strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams.
