Job summary

Owenton Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide direct PT services under a licensed PT. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to implement treatment plans, supervise rehab staff, and contribute to care conferences.

Qualified candidates hold an accredited PTA program graduate status and a valid PTA license, with proficient English communication and experience in healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Director of Rehabilitation and Physical Therapist.
• Assist in screening and input to initial evaluations as appropriate.
• Implement treatment per the established plan of care.
• Comply with documentation and billing guidelines.
• Supervise PTAs, Rehab Techs and PT students as directed.
• Integrate PT services into facility and interdisciplinary plans.
• Participate in care conferences, team meetings, and progress updates.
