Job summary

Owenton Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality PT services in a collaborative setting. You will conduct screenings, develop treatment plans, supervise PTAs and rehab techs, and coordinate care with nursing and rehab teams.

You will maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, pursue continuing education, and contribute to program development to enhance resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited school of physical therapy.
• Valid state Physical Therapist license.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and basic internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services including screening, evaluation, treatment planning, discharge planning, supervision of assistants and rehab techs, and case management.
• Maintain professional conduct and comply with state/federal regulations governing physical therapy practice.
• Establish and maintain patient-centered interactions with patients, interdisciplinary teams, and facility staff.
• Refer patients for treatment to PTAs and provide supervision.
• Directly supervise PTAs and Rehab Techs in accordance with state guidelines and policies.
• Participate in utilization review, care conferences, and interdisciplinary team activities.
• Develop and enhance physical therapy programs and services to support quality outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with environmental safety, infection control, and patient rights policies.
• Maintain licensure and stay informed of profession developments.
• Understand and apply payment models and treatment guidelines for service delivery.
• Maintain confidentiality of facility and patient information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
