Falkville Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our nursing team in Falkville, Alabama. The role focuses on assisting with therapeutic exercises, implementing treatment plans, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree required from an accredited program.
Current PTA certification in the State of Alabama is required.
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility and strength.
Implement treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists and monitor patient progress.
Educate patients and families about treatment plans and home exercise programs.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress.
