Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program.
• Current state licensure as PTA.
• Basic computer proficiency for documentation and communication.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans through therapeutic exercises.
• Monitor residents' progress and document responses to therapy.
• Assist with ordering and maintaining supplies; support plan reevaluation.
• Communicate residents' functional status to residents, caregivers and professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of progress and changes using basic computer systems.
