Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Colonial Vista Post Acute, Wenatchee, WA

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour (DOE)

General Purpose

The PTA works under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality, compassionate care. You\'ll help patients achieve their therapy goals, support nursing and rehab teams, and make a real difference every day.

Responsibilities
  • Treat patients according to the Physical Therapist\'s plan of care
  • Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress reports per policy and state standards
  • Assist with patient evaluations, care conferences, and discharge planning
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers in exercise and mobility programs
  • Maintain treatment areas and report equipment concerns promptly
  • Support restorative training for nursing staff and participate in in-services
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure consistent, effective communication
Qualifications
  • Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in Washington State
  • Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with therapy documentation software (Casamba, PointClickCare)
  • Experience in post-acute, skilled nursing, or rehab settings preferred
