Job summary

Empire Auto Parts is seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our fast-paced distribution team in Charlotte, NC. You will receive, inspect, store, and prepare shipments, maintain accurate inventory, and help uphold safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include order picking, packing, conducting routine counts, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, and collaborating across departments to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, up to 60 pounds.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Unafraid of heights up to 30 ft.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures is a plus.

The responsibilities will include receiving, storing, and distributing products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and contributing to a safe and organized work environment.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNoneDuties/Responsibilities• Receiving and Inspection: Receive incoming shipments, inspect for accuracy, and document any discrepancies. Ensure all products are in good condition and report any damages or issues.• Storage and Organization: Safely and efficiently store products in designated areas, optimizing space utilization and maintaining a well-organized warehouse.• Order Picking and Packing: Accurately pick and pack customer orders, ensuring items are properly labeled and prepared for shipment.• Inventory Management: Perform regular inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels. Identify and report discrepancies promptly.• Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards by handling products with care and attention to detail.
