Job summary

Central Bank of the Midwest is seeking a part-time Teller to support banking operations and serve as the face of the bank. You will process transactions, balance drawers, and help customers with tailored solutions in a fast-paced retail banking environment.

The role emphasizes cross-selling, accurate cash handling, and professional customer interactions. Work hours include Saturdays 8:30am–12:15pm with flexible weekdays, located at Arborwalk, Missouri.

Qualifications

• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Basic math, computer/typing skills and the ability to count U.S. currency.
• Analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate and work well with internal and external customers in a cooperative, positive manner.
• Look for cross-sell and up-sell opportunities in a customer-centric manner.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Process financial transactions accurately and timely in a friendly and professional manner.
• Balance assigned cash drawer and research differences where applicable.
• Actively listen to customers, and communicate in a friendly, positive manner at all times; even in difficult situations.
• Recognize customer needs and cross-sell bank products/services ensuring recommendations are customer centric to meet the needs of the customer.
• Make referrals to other lines of business for traditional and non-traditional products and services.

• Recognize customer needs and cross-sell bank products/services ensuring recommendations are customer centric to meet the needs of the customer.
